Michael Anthony Milton is the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church Chattanooga, TN. He is also a husband, father, army chaplain, author, seminary teacher, and now recording artist. During the evening service of Mike's second week as Senior Pastor in Chattanooga, he put on a concert. As he played through his set, he told the story of his life. In the audience that night was Music for Missions president, Eric Parker. Eric approached Mike that evening about recording his music. Almost four years later, He Shall Restore is on disc. The album takes the listener through the amazing journey which has been the life of Michael Anthony Milton. Many of the songs are the by-products of Milton's own sermon preparation. The album is a testimony to the unfailing love and sovereign hand of God.
Musically He Shall Restore leaves no stone unturned. Folk, Blue Grass, Classical, Gospel, and Americana Rock & Roll all make an appearance. Milton's ability to jump from genre to genre without missing a beat makes the variety seamless. High points of the album are Milton's soothing and sometimes haunting voice as well as his songwriting which, in the same manner as his preaching, hits the human heart deep.
The album features the Adonia String Trio as well as the renowned Fred Schendel on piano, organ, drums, electric guitar, backing vocals and acoustic guitar.
